Throughout our 25 years of existence, St. Lucia’s premiere locally owned hotel chain, Bay Gardens Resorts, has been dedicated to sustainably developing our communities. As we move towards a more resilient St. Lucia, the Bay Gardens brand continues to invest heavily in the environment, education, sports, youth development and cultural preservation of our communities. Just have a look at how we stay connected to our St. Lucian society!

Protecting Our Beautiful Destination

Bay Gardens Resorts remains committed to supporting environmental protection and ensuring a greener planet throughout our operations, thus improving our social, environmental and economic sustainability.

Whether it is in the forefront or behind the scenes, our decisions and choices are driven by sustainable tourism and our three Green Globe certified properties are testaments to our efforts. With this certification, Bay Gardens is equipped with a framework to conduct a comprehensive assessment of our environmental sustainability performance, allowing the company to monitor improvements and continue to maintain its certification. After being Green Globe certified for five consecutive years, our company became the first and only on island to be awarded Green Globe’s Gold Member status.

Inspiring And Educating The Next Generation

Bay Gardens Resorts continues to see the importance of sharing knowledge locally with students on tourism and hospitality as we hope to inspire interested persons to pursue a future career within those sectors.

The founders of this locally owned and managed resort chain, Mr. and Mrs. Destang, as well as General Manager of the Beach Resort and Spa, Ms. Waltrude Patrick, were former teachers and their passion for youth development radiates through numerous of the projects untaken.

Leaving Our Footprints In The Community

Bay Gardens Resorts aims to unite and strengthen our communities. We continue to leave our footprints in the communities we serve through partnerships and supporting various initiatives organized by other local establishments.
