Bay Gardens Beach Resort Review:
I have just returned from my first visit to St Lucia and the Bay Gardens Beach Resort. My initial anxiety proved to be unfounded. Bay Gardens has a great location - right on the beach. The room overlooked the beach / ocean with lots to see - including the pirate ship featured in the 'Pirates' series of films. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and the food was also very good. I hope to return one day.

We traveled with our son, age 8, during the February Presidents' break. We stayed at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort as an Interval International getaway. It was absolutely fabulous! The accommodations are fantastic. The housekeeping is superb. We loved the decorum of the unit (we had a 2 bedroom- which was way too big for our small threesome.) The people at Bay Gardens are doing their best to make this resort feel like a "home away from home." The concierge, Sarah Lee, was a doll and she really gave us some good advice for restaurants. Theresa, the tour planner, was great too and she helped us book trips on a Catamaran (the Tango Too) and to go ziplining in the rainforest- SOooo much fun! There's also an Avis desk if you'd like to rent a car for a day or two. We enjoyed bingo one night, a Managers' Cocktail party another night (where the owners actually showed up and welcomed us to their resort) and a beach blast on another night. There was a fire eater, dancers, a limbo poll and you eat on the beach. The food was good at the restaurant on the premises and we were informed that a more formal restaurant is opening any day now. We enjoyed breakfast and some lunches in the room. We loved having our coffee outside on the patio/balcony. We absolutely loved St. Lucia and the people on the island. We never felt unsafe or scared at all!

Bay Gardens Hotel Review:
“Good value friendly hotel” - We were there from the 1st - 12th March 2008. The Bay Gardens Hotel was our first experience of St Lucia and we were impressed both by the hotels facilities and friendly staff. Always clean and tidy. The whole area around the hotel is built up with restaurants, malls & other hotels and the beach is a short walk or courtesy bus ride.

“Fantastic in every way”- The Bay Gardens Inn is the perfect place to be! the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - especially Natasha (reception) and Waltrude Patrick (manager). the rooms are a good size, kept very clean and are well-appointed around the lovely garden pool, the staff at Bay Gardens Inn will help you with information and where to go and what to see. they were also very welcoming to our 4-year-old daughter (who spent most of the time in the pool although there is also swingset in the garden).
