SAINT LUCIA’S BAY GARDENS RESORTS ESTABLISH HAITI RELIEF FUND
Locally Owned Caribbean Hotel Group Donations to Benefit Red Cross
CASTRIES, SAINT LUCIA – January 22, 2010 – The locally owned Bay Gardens Resorts in Saint Lucia has established a Haiti Relief Fund in an effort to aid their Caribbean neighbor devastated by the recent earthquake. The initiative began last Friday at The Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa, Bay Gardens Hotel and Bay Gardens Inn. The collection efforts will continue throughout the month of February.
“Our Caribbean neighbor has been dealt a devastating blow and we want to help as quickly as possible to aid the earthquake victims,” said Bay Gardens Resorts Managing Director Joyce Destang. “The generosity and outpouring of support from our guests and staff has been overwhelming. All proceeds collected will go one-hundred percent to the Red Cross’ relief efforts in Haiti.”
Guests can offer a donation in any amount that will be matched by the Bay Gardens Resorts. All funds will be donated to regional chapter of the Saint Lucia Red Cross.
